Oh heck, I'm getting too tired to want to write much tonight. I'll just sum up my day.
- Got up at 6:00 a.m.,
- drove to delivery,
- missed 2 turns en route 'cuz of missing "JCT xx" (highway junction) signs on the back roads,
- delivery was a drop-and-hook and went quickly,
- next assignment came in almost immediately (must have been pre-planned),
- drove to next pickup in Dunn, NC,
- pickup was real quick for a live-load,
- am on my way to Berwick, PA to deliver the load tomorrow,
- stopped for the night at the Petro here in Ruther Glen (north of Richmond)
It's getting cold here now--in the 20s already. I'm hoping there are no snow issues to go along with the deep freeze up in PA to make the driving "interesting" tomorrow so I can make it to my delivery expeditiously.
